October 17 - 19 2008
The Solo Piping and Drumming events held at the Stone Mountain Highland Games have become so large that it takes more than one day to complete. Most grades of contest take place on Saturday however Sunday showcases the novice grade player. This is a great opportunity to listen to the future of piping in the Eastern US.
All contests will be held under the rules and guidelines of the EUSPBA. All competitors must be registered with the EUSPBA or an affiliated organization. For specific contest rules and regulations and well as tune selection requirements, please counsult the EUSPBA official website at www.euspba.org
All must present themselves to the competition area in proper Scottish/Highland costume.
All Solo Drumming events as well as Solo Piping events for Amateur Grades 1 - 3 and Professional players will be contested on Saturday, October 18, 2008. Amateur Grade 4 pipers will complete on Sunday, October 19, 2008.
