SMHG - Beth Patterson

Beth Patterson was raised by feral dachshunds in a Louisiana swamp. She got her start her teens playing bass in assorted Cajun and heavy metal bands. Shortly thereafter she took to the Irish bouzouki, largely because someone told her not to. She studied ethnomusicology at University College, Cork in Ireland and holds a bachelor's degree in Music Therapy from Loyola University New Orleans. Beth has performed in over twenty countries across five continents, appeared on over two hundred recordings.
